Learning vs. Creating.
Welcome to your weekly issue of the JXN Newsletter — a timeless signal to create yourself, starting from the inside out.
"We prefer to see “winners” as “naturally talented” rather than “hard working.” Because if it were reversed, what would that imply about us?"
What I’ve really tried to grasp this week is the power of allocating your time correctly. When you’re building, creating, or starting to dedicate yourself more to what you love. It is essential that you master time allocation between “learning” and “doing”.
This is your time to listen. We know that we should spend more time listening, hearing, and understanding more than we do speaking. But it’s not enough. We need to apply what we learn in our own concepts. That includes disagreeing, refuting and ultimately choosing what works for you, and using that to make your journey better.
20% of your time should be spent on this. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
The most important part of today’s newsletter.
“What you consume is only as useful as what you then create with it.”
The food you eat is important for the energy it gives you to live better, the people you are around are important for the way you live your life, the information you read is important for your way of thinking, your beliefs and what you create with it.
“Doing” should comprise 80% of your time each day. Remember, you’re a creator first—a builder, not a consumer.
“Sometimes success is 3% brains and 97% not getting distracted by the internet.”

What I’ve learned this week
Spend time each morning being clearer on two things:
Who you are.
What you want.
Start with recognising who you are today. The world is always changing, so it’s important to be in tune with yourself.
Do so with affirmations every morning. Reaffirming that you are your most positive and successful self is the way to create a better mindset.
And think about who you want to be. What profession do you want to master? How much money do you want? What do you want to be able to do with your time? Think about it, say or write to yourself that it is possible, then focus on your action plan to make it happen.
